Where Do I Go From Here?

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

It has been an amazing journey. I began Grand Canyon University in May of 2013. It is now November 2016 and I have only one class left to take. The question and prayer that continues to cross my mind is "Lord, where do I go from here?

Viewing Destiny
(Quatern)

Where oh where will destiny lead
A new chapter it’s time to write
A brand new view is now in sight
Destiny calls and I must go

The path up ahead looks so bright
Where oh where will destiny lead
Can’t imagine what lies ahead
So I must follow my heart

I’m praying daily from the start
Into others I will impart
Where oh where will destiny lead
From the pages others will read

A healing source for all in need
A balm to all I will agree
Moving forward as He proceed
Where oh where will destiny lead

Now it has been four years since the writing of this poem and three amazing years since I started Grand Canyon University. I started this project as required by our Head Start Program. They were requiring all teachers to have a BA Degree. In the process the Head Start Program closed it's doors in June of 2016.  We all had to seek new employment. Within a month a door was opened for me with Creative Child Care Inc. where I continued my education even though I was placed with the toddlers. I love it. It can be challenging but it keeps me young. ⌣
I am working with a mentor who will be helping me to up grade to a site supervisor certificate. I am yet praying about it. All I can say is "one day at a time". Where oh where will destiny lead??
Here it is October 1-2025, 9 years since the writing of this piece. I am now working as a "Program Assistant" with Worknet of Stockton. It has been an amazing journey. I was first with the "Sers-

The Senior Community Service Employment Program. It was a training program for seniors 55+. During the course of this training the pandemic hit and the world came to a stand still for almost 2 years.

My twin Martha Walker passed away during this season, I felt that this was the worst season ever. I felt as though my Christmas's would never be the same. She was ill at the time and caught covic. They found her dead in her apartment. What a shocker.
